What is SURVIVEiT®?: SURVIVEiT® is a cancer patient advocate that empowers people facing cancer to be active participants in their distinct journeys. We do this by simplifying the steps needed for cancer patients and caregivers to understand all their options so they can fearlessly define a path forward. We understand that every second count and nobody has more at stake.
What do we do?: We work to facilitate informed decision-making. Through experience-based wisdom, we guide, teach, and support you to define and navigate your chosen path to face cancer with hope.
How do we do it?: We cut through the noise to help you navigate the convoluted process of managing the disease. We provide best-in-class resources and objective information so you are equipped to make critical decisions and achieve the best outcomes possible.
Why it matters?: Everything we do is guided by the wisdom and urgency that can only come from having faced cancer ourselves. We are constantly moved to help empower you and others to define your journeys and face cancer fearlessly.
Is there a fee to use SURVIVEiT®?: All of the resources provided by SURVIVEiT® are accessible free of charge from any mobile device anywhere in the world.
What type of cancers does SURVIVEiT® provide help for?: SURVIVEiT® provides resources for 99% of cancers diagnosed worldwide. Should you need help facing a rare form of cancer not listed in our online resources, please email us via the "Contact Us" link and we'll go to work immediately on answering your questions and providing you with the resources you need for your specific type of cancer.
How will I know the information is credible?: The Internet contains millions of documents on cancer. Through the oversight of our Medical Advisory Board and several strategic partnerships, SURVIVEiT® will provide access to only information curated by our team of professionals and known to be current and accurate. Our Survivor Advisory Board will also vote on “Best in Class” resources by survivors who use them most. We work continuously to scan the internet and communicate with industry professionals to ensure that SURVIVEiT® is providing only the best resources currently available for every type of cancer.
How will this information be updated and communicated?: Users of SURVIVEiT® can register for a number of different email alerts and notifications specific to their needs. Through the combined oversight of our Medical Advisory Board, Survivor Advisory Board, and Faith Leadership Board, SURVIVEiT® will provide monitored Facebook communities for patients, survivors, and caregivers to connect and communicate with each other. Within these tumor-specific Facebook groups, those affected by cancer can share their successes and lessons learned, post inspirational stories of hope, provide prayer and spiritual support, post tips on dealing with side effects, provide guidance on nutrition and fitness, and support each other throughout their cancer journey.
